Laser Hair Removal Tips for Dummies

Laser hair removal is one of the recent advancement in the cosmetic medicine field. This is a technology that continues to be developed. Here are laser hair removal tips. Tired of hair removal at home?

For example, at this point in time laser hair removal technology allows removing black and brown hair. It is still very hard and many times impossible to use the laser hair removal technology on white and red hair, but as technology develops, more and more possibilities are opening.

There are many clinics that offer laser hair removal services and many doctors that can tell you what the laser hair removal procedure can do specifically for you (based on your type of hair and skin).

In general, the laser hair removal is a medical procedure that allows men and women to eliminate or reduce the hair coverage on many areas of their body.

Though the laser hair removal is a method that allows for permanent hair removal, this is not done right away. You need laser hair removal tips to have success.

You will have to attend several laser hair removal therapy sessions (usually five to ten sessions) during a certain period of time (usually eight to fifteen months).

Only going through the full laser hair removal treatment will result in long-term results. The actual number of treatments and the overall laser hair removal treatment period will depend on the type of your skin, hair and the type of laser used for the procedure.

In general, the laser hair removal is the process that is used to destroy the hair follicles without causing any damage to the skin.

You will be advised to stop waxing the skin area where you would like to have the hair removed for the period of approximately two months before the laser hair removal treatment.

The reason for several sessions is the fact that not all hair follicles are destroyed.

The new hair that grows after one session is removed during the next laser hair removal session. This process goes on until almost all hair follicles are destroyed.

When it comes to body hair removal, a laser hair removal treatment is by far the most effective and permanent method available. In order to understand this procedure further, listed below we have the top 5 questions and answers about lazer hair removal.

Laser Hair Removal has improved the quality of life of thousands, especially female with male pattern hair growth. Removal of unwanted hair by laser is a major advance over treatment such as electrolysis. It has brought hope to several individuals with hair growth in areas where they cause embarrassment. There are certain things you should know about this form of treatment. Here are laser hair removal tips:

  1. What is Laser Hair Removal? It is a laser beam targeted at the hair follicle. The high intensity ray of light gives off heat energy. The laser tracts along the hair shaft, heating it and leading to thermal damage to the follicle while leaving the surrounding tissue unharmed. The effectiveness of this treatment depends on the concentration of melanin in the hair. It is more effective in dark hair, less effective in brown or ginger hair and will not work on white, grey or platinum blonde hair. As the laser travels along the hair shaft, there must be hair present. It is, therefore, not recommended to pluck unwanted hair before treatment. Similarly since laser hair removal works on the melanin level, dark skin or tanned skin need special treatment.
  2. Cost depends on the size of the area that needs treatment. The larger the area, the greater the cost. In the USA, the average cost per session is $450 and in the UK, the cost may vary from £45 to £450. Treatment may be for several sessions in a year because hair will re-grow. The re-growth, however, will be slower and the hair thinner. Mr. David Gault, Plastic Surgeon, reported 80% reduction of upper lip hair growth after 6 months.
  3. What you should find out: Make sure you know as much as you can about Laser Hair Removal. Choose a clinic that offers free consultation so that you can assess suitability and what is on offer. Find out before hand how much it will cost you. Make sure you know whether a medical practitioner will be on the premises during your treatment. Check that your assigned therapist is suitably qualified and experienced.
  4. How safe: Laser is a pure high beam light. It does not cause cancer. It only penetrates up to the dermis of the skin. It is dangerous to the eyesight. You will probably use goggles to protect your eyes during treatment. The skin can be darkened by laser because of the melanin concentration. Too much exposure can leave the skin with paler patches that slowly fades away. Over heating can cause blistering and rarely scarring especially in darker skin and people with recent tans. The paler you are before treatment the safer and better the treatment.
You should not have laser hair removal if you are sensitive to light or have any infection on the area to be treated. You should not have treatment if you had isotretinoin as acne treatment in the last year.
  5. Is Hair removal permanent? Laser hair removal and electrolysis are considered the only permanent hair removal treatment. Although laser hair treatment is promoted as permanent by the industry, this is not strictly the case. It cannot stop the unwanted hair from re-growing. It will, however, slow the re-growth so that it can take several months or years. The re-growth will consist of thinner hair.
  6. What happens during treatment? Depending on the types of laser beam system and the area to be treated, you may be required to wear goggles. Laser hair removal treatment can cause stinging or the area may tingle. The time taken for a session depends on the size of the area and can last between 15 and 45 minutes. The area concerned will be treated approximately once a month for between two and eight months. Not all lasers are the same and results may vary with different systems. Before you embark on Laser hair removal, make sure you do your homework.
  7. What types of Laser Hair Removal are available? There are various types available. The Ruby Laser is the oldest. It is not suitable for dark skinned or tanned people and only covers a small area. The Alexandrite Laser is the fastest laser available. It is used on light to olive complexion. It is the most popular type because it can cover large areas of the body. The Diode Laser works better for dark skin and is not as effective in lighter skin. It is fast and covers large areas during treatment. The Long Pulse Nd:Yag Laser can be used on all skin types. It is fast and covers large areas. Patients, however, tend to experience more discomfort during treatment. Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) is not really Laser but will have the same effect as laser on the hair follicles. It is more difficult to use and needs greater skill.
  1. How does lazer hair removal work?
A laser hair removal treatment uses specially designed laser to heat the hair follicles and render them inactive. The energy from the lasers used is absorbed by the pigment in the hair.

When it comes to body hair removal, a laser hair removal treatment is by far the most effective and permanent method available. In order to understand this procedure further, listed below we have the top 5 questions and answers about lazer hair removal.

  1. How does lazer hair removal work?
A laser hair removal treatment uses specially designed laser to heat the hair follicles and render them inactive. The energy from the lasers used is absorbed by the pigment in the hair shaft otherwise known as melanin and any subsequent hair that grows from this hair follicle will be much lighter in color. After a number of treatments many people find that their lazer hair removal treatments have produced permanent hair removal results.
  2. Can anyone have lazer hair removal carried out?
Although skin color and type will affect lazer hair removal, this is only in the amount of treatments that will be required. Darker hair is easier to treat than lighter hair.
  3. What areas of the body can I have lazer hair removal on?
Lazer hair removal can be carried out on almost every part of the body except the eye area. This treatment is suitable for both men and women and the most common areas treated are the upper lip, underarms, bikini area, legs, chest, back, and face.
  4. What makes lazer hair removal so popular?
The main reason behind the popularity of lazer hair removal has to be the permanent hair removal results that can be achieved. A laser hair removal treatment is also virtually pain free and when compared with other body hair removal options such as shaving, plucking and waxing there really is no comparison.
  5. Are there any side effects?
The only side effect that you may be likely to experience after a laser hair removal treatment is a slight reddening of the skin. This usually lasts for approximately 20 minutes but will depend on your skin sensitivity.

Most female facial hair appears over the lip and on the chin, but many females have unwanted hair on their jaw, cheeks and neck.

Fortunately, there are a number of different ways to finesse female facial hair removal.

First and foremost, a female should determine the underlying cause of her facial hair before deciding on a removal method.

Females who are pregnant or nursing often notice an increase of facial hair.

They should speak with their doctor before using any hair removal method that uses energy, chemicals or drugs.

Females who have high levels of androgens, (a steroid hormone, such as testosterone or androsterone, that controls the development and maintenance of masculine characteristics), creating facial hair may obtain prescription oral medications from a medical specialist.

Tweezing is a easy hair removal at home.

Tweezing is probably the method most often used to remove female facial hair. But while it’s okay to use tweezers for eyebrows, it really isn’t for other female facial hair.

It’s painful, time consuming usually needing to be done on a daily basis, and over time, tweezing can damage the skin.

Some females believe they can conceal their facial hair by bleaching it, but then, under make up and in bright light their face looks, “furry”.

Topical creams for female facial hair removal, available only by prescription, inhibit the growth of new hairs for about 50% of the females who have used one.

Shaving with a wet razor is not recommended as a female facial hair removal method because hairs grow back very quickly and the stubble appears thicker and darker.

One can remove unwanted female facial hair with a hair removal cream or lotion known as a depilatory. But don’t be surprised if you get pimples as a reaction to the harsh chemicals.

Waxing is a is perfect hair removal at home.

A facial wax is a clean, fast and easy method for removing female facial hair for up to 6 weeks. But, many experience swelling and redness in reaction to the hairs being literally yanked out.

Electrolysis is an unpleasant form of female facial hair removal because it involves inserting a needle into the follicle, (the skin depression from which the hair emerges), of each individual hair, which can cause swelling, redness, pinpoint scabbing and even scarring. Electrolysis requires anesthesia, is expensive and needs to be done regularly for 1 or 2 years to achieve final results.

Laser treatments for female facial hair removal can provide results within six to eight treatments – If you can afford the hefty cost. Because laser hair removal involves a hot laser light, “zapping”, the hair follicles, these treatments require the use of a topical anesthetic.

One last thing – If you do your own research you’ll discover there is one more hair removal method that will help you finesse your female facial hair.

For those males, and females, who enjoy having a bald head, there is no better hair removal process than shaving.

And while there are those within this group who get very satisfactory results with one of the newer tri-blade razors, true aficionados of the smooth, shiny and healthy looking scalp say there is nothing to compare with the results achieved with a straight edged razor – Once you know how.

Shaving, either with a wet razor or an electric shaver, is the traditional way most males remove their facial hair. Although today, there are wet and dry shavers that are gaining in popularity.

For some males, convinced they’re really female and committed to becoming one, the process of electrolysis is sometimes employed to eradicate the facial hairs hormone treatments don’t affect.

Just as many females endure electrolysis to remove unwanted hairs on their face.

But again, most females and transsexuals opt for alternatives such as tweezing or depilatories specifically formulated for the face, as opposed to electrolysis.

For these people seeking a smooth and hairless face, shaving is not an option.

When it comes to chest hair – Some females seek electrolysis, but most often simply tweeze hairs from around the areola, (about the nipple of the breast). But because males have such a large area to contend with, electrolysis really isn’t a viable hair removal process. Neither are laser hair removal treatments simply because of the cost and time involved.

So most males who desire to remove their chest hair often go to a salon and get it waxed. Or regularly apply a depilatory or shave.

This applies to the back as well. Although to effectively use a depilatory or razor/shaver on his back, obviously a male needs a friendly accomplice.

While we’re still dealing with the upper part of the body, there are the armpits, for which shaving is the most popular process. Depilatories are not recommended because the caustic chemicals can be too easily absorbed. And waxing, well, it’s an option, but not a popular one because it’s s-o-o-o painful to have hairs yanked from this super sensitive area.

For those males and females who choose to remove hair from their pubic areas – Yes, some people do elect electrolysis, but most employ alternatives.

The most used hair removal alternative to electrolysis is the handy-dandy wet razor. One cannot say that it’s the most popular because of the inherent dangers of wielding a razor sharp blade around this area and because the skin is so sensitive, the results are more often than not uncomfortable after the first few hours, but still – Millions of people around the globe repeatedly remove their pubic hair with a wet razor.

Research reveals that a sizable group of people pay the high price for laser treatments to remove hair in the pubic area, but it’s a bit of a mystery why. Because it takes several sessions over a period of time to remove all the hair, and by that time, the hair has already started to grow back in where it was first removed. Not to mention the side effects along the way that can leave one feeling quite raw and sore.

There is waxing, but only for those with a high pain threshold … Although many can endure bikini line waxing as it’s a small area that can be done in about 15 minutes at a salon, so one could say it’s a popular hair removal process. But – It’s recommended that the skin be allowed to heal a few days before “agitating”, it.

Depilatories are only suitable for use strictly along the bikini lines. Again, the harsh chemicals that “melt”, the hair could cause severe problems if allowed anywhere else.

There is a rumor that there are those who tweeze their pubic hair – But that one’s too painful to even consider.

When it comes to legs – Well, shaving beats out all other alternatives to electrolysis. In fact, not much can be found about legs being a major target area for electrolysis or laser treatments. Probably because shaving is so easy and leg skin is not so sensitive that the results are quite satisfactory.

Of course, there are those who have their legs regularly waxed and they say it’s worth it because their legs stay smooth for as long as 3-8 weeks. And as long as they apply a good sunscreen, they don’t have to keep their legs hidden.

The same is said by those who use a depilatory every few days. They say it’s much easier than shaving every few days.

So there you have it – The most popular, or at least most used, alternative hair removal processes to electrolysis, from head to toe.

Except one –

With just a little bit of research, you can discover the latest hair removal tool that has been streaking up the popularity chart. It’s inexpensive, easy to use, and removes hair quickly and safely from any part of the body without any unpleasant after effects.

Grilling For Dummies : How To Grill A Steak

Grilling a steak does not have to be difficult. Learn how to grill a steak the easy way.

If you are like me you love steak on a grill, but often thinking of grilling a steak seems daunting.

There’s nothing better than a nicely grilled juicy steak. But how come I can’t duplicate that restaurant, expensive, juicy, melt-in-your mouth, perfectly grilled steak?

Well, I found out how to grill a steak perfectly and here’s how you can too.

Follow these tips on how to grill a steak.

  1. The choice of meat is important!!! Just because the supermarket has labeled the steak “good for grilling” doesn’t mean that it is. Lean meat does not do well. You want a piece that has marbling throughout. And these are good cuts: fillet (mignon), top loin (rib eye) – basically the same cuts that are the ones you love in the restaurant.
  2. Next, proper heating of the grill is vital. If you are using charcoal, spread 2/3 of the bricks on one side and 1/3 of the bricks on the other. That way you have a hotter side for searing the meat and a cooler side for cooking the meat.
If you are using a gas grill, you will lose some of the flavor, but you will want to turn the heat down for the cooking portion.
  3. Next, rub both sides of the meat with oil and cover with salt and pepper. Be generous with the salt and pepper because it will fall off during the grilling.
  4. Place your meat on the hot side for searing. Cook on each side for three minutes to get the nice grilled meat crust color you love. For a hand test, I’ve been told that you should be able to hold you hand over the heat for 3 seconds before you can’t take it!
  5. Place your meat on the cooler side for cooking to your taste. The hand test for the cooler side, I’ve been told, is 6-7 seconds. You will want to use a timer to cook the meat – or use the slice and peak test to see if the meat is done enough for you. Just don’t cut and peek too often or you’ll lose all the juice!
  6. When the steak is done, take if off the grill and let it set for at least 5 minutes. Some people call it “resting”. It allows the juices to spread back out so that you’ll have a juicy steak with a nice crust.

No matter what you preference in a steak when learning how to grill a steak, maintaining good moisture should always be your goal.  When searching for a good cut of beef, look for a cut with good consistent marbling.

Fat equals flavor so very low fat content in meat will tend to dry it out and have much less flavor.

You should not have to coat a great piece of meat with sauce just to get flavor, in fact you should avoid using a sauce at all.

You want to see visible grains of fat running through the meat but not large pieces of fat.  If you do see larger pieces simply trim them off.

As you cook your steak the fat will melt and naturally tenderize the meat.

How to grill a steak well make sure your cut of meat is tenderize.

After removing the meat from refrigeration seasoning the meat with generous amounts of salt and pepper.

Many other herb and spice combinations can be added to your taste just be sure you have plenty of salt and pepper in addition to any other seasonings.

Allow the meat to come to room temperature before grilling.

When grilling your steak first make sure that you have your grill nice and hot.

This will give the outside a nice crust and will also help seal in its natural juices.  If you fire flares up at any point, move the meat off the flame.

While you want a hot grill, you do not want direct flame on the meat for any extended time period.  The worst mistake that most grillers make is to continually flip the meat time and time again.

Continually flipping the meat does nothing but cause the meat to dry out.

Flipping the steak over and over does not make you a grill master, doing it right, does.  In the end you will flip your steak 3 times which will mean you have cooked both sides twice for 3 minutes on each side.  For cross-hatch marks on your meat simply turn it 45 degrees when flipping.

Total cooking time should be roughly 12 minutes.

This will achieve a medium rare steak depending on how hot your grill is.

Because every grill it different you will need to experiment to get the desired results.

There is no exact way to tell when the steak is done.

Without cutting the meat open and risking the release of its juices, the best way is to either press the meat to judge its tenderness or use a meat thermometer.

If you choose not to press the meat, you can use you hand as a guide.

For instance if you take you index finger and touch the fleshy part of your palm right under your thumb, that is what rare should feel like.

Conversely if you touch you pinky to that same part of your palm that is the consistency of well done.

So from finger to the next starting with your index finger and ending with the pinky it would be: rare, medium-rare, medium and well done.

Herb rub:

  • 1 tablespoon dried thyme
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon kosher salt
  • 2 teaspoons freshly cracked black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons mustard powder
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon onion

Mix all ingredients thoroughly in a bowl.  Brush the steak lightly with olive oil and rub in herb rub.

If you want to learn how to grill a steak follow these tips.

Dog Won’t Stop Barking Try This!

Dog won’t stop barking ? Here is how to get your dog to stop barking excessively.

This will guide will you deal with your dog won’t stop barking .

Why Do Dogs Bark?

Barking, in addition to whining, howling and growling, is a dog’s natural means of communication.

Barking is characterized by a series of short, sharp sounds, that tend to vary little in tone or pitch.

A dog’s bark can signify territorial protection, exertion of dominance, or expression of some need. Typically, barking is “a means of communication triggered by a state of excitement.

” Being a natural trait, barking is not considered a behavioural problem, until it is produced in excess.

Causes of Problem Barking

Problem barking has a variety of origins. Genetics does influence a dog’s tendency to bark. Certain breeds belonging to the terrier family are prone to more frequent barking than breeds such as Greyhounds or Basenjis. Generally, however, excess barking can exist in any breed of dog.

The key to solving the problem of inappropriate barking is to determine what external stimulus is triggering the behaviour.

Improper confinement can be a major cause of problem barkers.

Improper confinement can include leaving a dog alone in a locked room, or in a dog crate (a tool used for housebreaking and other behavioural modifications).

Other improper confinements can include restricted tethering outdoors, or even an enclosed yard without proper shelter from the elements.

Such confinement can cause frustration in a dog and cause it to bark excessively. Closely associated with improper confinement is lack of exercise as a cause of excess barking.

When a dog is not provided with adequate exercise, pent-up energy is released through barking.

Environmental sounds can also trigger barking. These sounds include such things as the barking of other dogs, the sound of passing cars, strange voices, thunder, and mechanical noises such as the ringing of the phone.

Noises can initiate barking at different times of the day.

A dog may not bark at accustomed sounds during the day, but at night may be incited to a volley of barking, much to the chagrin of the neighbours, by the slightest of noises.

Other causes of problem barking can include separation anxiety, or the temperament of the dog: an over-aggressive animal may bark at the smallest provocation.

A strongly territorial dog may bark at any stranger, invited or uninvited, entering your property.

Dogs bark because we humans want our dogs to bark. For years our domestication process and selective breeding has allowed our dogs to develop their barking abilities.

Wolves don’t bark, so through genetic engineering and the selective breeding process, dogs these days have the ability to retain juvenile characteristics.

This is through the process known as neoteny.

Humans have chosen to retain the infantile traits of wolves like large heads, flat faces, large eyes and of course the ability to communicate, barking.

Barking was further developed in dogs in order to scare intruders or to help the master out (i.e. on farms to assist in gathering the sheep).

Most dogs simply bark to communicate, to get attention, or simply to show their excitement.

Training and lifestyle are important factors in teaching the dog how to communicate with its master.

Dogs are extremely social animals. Wolves themselves always travel in packs are usually never alone.

Bringing a dog into your family is basically like bringing a wolf into a pack. It becomes a part of the family. Try not to leave it alone otherwise it will feel as if it was abandoned by the pack.

Dogs are like having a baby in the house. They need love, attention, and someone to be there to take care of them.

Like people they need a companion to blossom. Meeting your dog’s emotional need for companionship and play will allow the two of you to form a strong bond together.

Sometimes having a second dog in the house can minimize the barking and minimize the loneliness. Although this may be rewarding at some

times, it can also be a pain. Your best bet would be to maximize training of your dog when it decides to bark.

Sometimes having two dogs may cause havoc because they may teach each other to bark more.

From the example above, dogs who bark at people are trained in a specific way. Everything boils down to how the owner trains their dog. If you reward the dog for barking, then the dog will understand that it’s a good thing to bark.

If you don’t reward the dog for barking, the dog will understand that it’s a bad thing to bark. If you are training your dog to become a watchdog, sometimes their barking can be very selective and discriminating with certain people.

Sometimes they may just bark at anything they see. It is important to train these dogs by developing their intelligence level and how they interpret various events.

Dogs who simply bark because of activity or excitement are relatively hard to eliminate. Most of the time these dogs are unaware of their barking and in turn becomes a process that is hard to eliminate.

You must turn to a dog trainer who teaches the dog to debark.

Debarking can be somewhat inhumane because the dog is trained to let out a low, raspy bark which cannot be heard from more than a few feet away.

If you consider the process of debarking your dog you must weigh the pros and cons. It can be beneficial in the sense that your dog will no longer be the irritating dog on the block who barks at anything he sees but may be a problem if the dog is in danger.

As an owner you would want to know where the location of your dog was if it was in danger.

Solutions to Excess Barking

Excess barking can be a serious behavioural problem and can mean the termination of the relationship with your dog or the dog itself if left untreated.

The following text includes information on how to solve your dog’s problem barking as recommended by the veterinary profession.

The first step in solving problem barking, is to determine if your dog is barking in response to inadequate shelter or improper confinement.

If this is the case, the dog must be provided with a comfortable amount of space or supplied with a doghouse if outdoor shelter is inadequate.

Increasing the amount of exercise given to your dog may also help.

In the event your dog is barking in response to environmental noises, or the barking is simply due to its temperament, behavioural modification methods should be used. These methods can include reconditioning using a verbal reprimand such as “No!”, and leash correction.

It should be noted however, that you should never yell at your dog, as loud noises may encourage your pet to bark more.

Also keep in mind the punishment should be applied while the barking is occurring, in order for your dog to associate the unwanted behaviour with the punishment.

Also remember to reward your dog when it stops barking.

Indirect intervention methods can also be applied. These techniques can range from spraying your dog with water while it is barking, to using noise producing devices such as “Dog Stop” or “Barker Breaker,” which emit loud or high frequency sounds that interrupt and deter barking.

These devices can be controlled by the owner, or triggered by the dog’s barking. In the event your dog is resistant to these behavioural modifications, more drastic action can be taken in the form of bark activated shock collars.

This device is particularly effective when barking occurs in the owner’s absence. Shock collars, however, are recommended only after other control measures have failed.

A final resort, when all other behavioural modification methods have been tried, and particularly when the dog’s life is in question, is a vocal cordectomy (debarking).

This surgical procedure involves removal of all or part of the vocal cords.

The key to solving the problem of excess barking in your dog begins with an understanding of what is causing this behaviour.

Once you have determined a cause, you have a greater chance of choosing the most effective solution (e.g., more exercise) or behavioural modification.

Modifying such an instinctive and natural behaviour as barking can be difficult, and may require considerable patience, time, and hard work. Solutions, however, are possible, and worth the effort.

I hope this resolve your dog won’t stop barking issue.

Caring For A Cat [ Ultimate Guide]

Caring for a cat is easy.

Cats are very good pets as they don’t require as much attention as other options such as a dog.

Caring for a cat is much easier than caring for a dog.

You don’t have to walk the cat and you don’t have to deal with it barking at everything that happens to walk by your home.

Young cats are extremely playful and you can interact with them when you want to. However, most cats are content to play with toys or to be independent.

This doesn’t mean that cats aren’t excellent companions though. They can be silly at times and they often enjoy curling up on your lap and purring.

Your cat won’t come running when you are home at the end of day and knock you over. They also don’t lick or bite so you won’t have to worry about how they will interact with others when you have company.

Cats always seem to be able to tell when you need some comfort.

Taking care of a pet can help a child to become more responsible but some pets just come with too much time required.

A cat makes a perfect choice for children because they tend to take care of themselves.

As long as they are given sufficient food and water they will remain happy.

Cat Food

In order to keep your cat or kitten healthy, you need to choose quality foods that will provide him with nutrients he needs.

Caring for a cat depends alot on its food.

But, what are they? You can’t just give your cat any type of food that is available. There are several things you should do to improve your cat’s nutrition.

Kitten Food

During the first few weeks, the food will come from mom cat. But, when he begins to reach the age of four to six weeks, he needs to supplement his foods with canned kitten food or you can provide him with dry cat food that is softened with water.

At eight weeks, he should be weaned from the mother and eating kitten food solely. The breeder at this point can allow him to be adopted and should provide you with some of the food that he is eating.

If you plan to switch brands, you can do so but make sure that you mix the food together until he is used to it.

Growing kittens will eat a good amount of food. They are growing very fast and need it. They will eat more than once a day.

They are likely to eat up to four smaller meals until they are six months old. You should give him plenty of clean water as well. Remember, kittens have smaller stomachs and need smaller amounts but use a lot of energy nonetheless.

As Your Kitten Gets Older

At six months, the cat will begin to taper off in growing. He will likely be less active as well.

This means you can cut back to feeding him to two or three meals a day. You should not change from kitten food to adult food since he is still growing.

At a year, you can provide him with adult food. Adult cats will eat when they are hungry so you can simply leave a dish filled with dry food for him.

But, if he overeats and becomes overweight, he will need to be limited to eating twice a day instead. If you give him canned food, you can still offer dry food as well. Canned food should not be left out all day.

What Kind of Cat Food?

To purchase cat food, you should look for the types that have protein sources in the first few ingredients that are listed.

You should make sure that the food is well balanced too. If the cat has problems that are health related look for foods designed to help with these conditions.

Many cats will enjoy both wet and dry food. But, some are finicky about it. If your cat does not seem to like dry cat food, moisten it or provide him with regular check ups at the vet to keep his teeth clean.

Providing well balanced food for your cat will allow him to live a healthy, long life.

Indoor cats will have to be trained to use a litter box but most of them learn very quickly so you won’t have to deal with cleaning up such messes around your home. However, you need to clean the litter box regularly because cats do not like to use a dirty litter box.

Caring for a cat waste is easy with a litter box.

Cats are clean animals as they spend a large amount of time grooming themselves each day.

In the majority of cases, cats lead a very happy and long life without too many problems. They don’t cost very much because cat food and litter are very cheap.

They don’t require as many vet visits for routine shots either like dogs do which can become quite expensive. Caring for a cat is less expensive than caring for a dog.

For those that have problems with mice, cats make a great natural system for taking care of them. This means you won’t have to deal with messy traps or dangerous poisons around your home. Many cat owners claim they haven’t come across a mouse in their home for years with this line of defense.

Cats are very precious and beautiful animals as well.

They have a gentle hum to them that can be relaxing for humans. They have coats in all colors as well as eyes that are very shiny and bright.

Each cat has their own personality and you just can’t help but adore them.

There are many breeds of cats if you want a particular kind but some of the most beautiful cats are those that are mixed breeds.

Cats are very smart animals too so they will quickly catch up to what you like from them and what you don’t based on the praise you give them.

Contrary to popular belief, cats are obedient and they want their owner’s to be happy with them.

They will learn fast that you don’t like them scratching on the furniture or putting their tail in your face while you are sleeping.

Caring for a cat is much easier than carrying for a dog.

You will need a great deal of commitment in order to own a cat as they do require some care (although not as much as dogs!) and can live as old as 15 years (or even longer in some cases).

Cats require feeding (daily), care and ‘play time’ on a regular basis. You will also have to take into consideration, before getting your cat, that you will have vets’ bills to pay for annual vaccines, worming and if treatment is required for any illnesses.

These bills can sometimes be very costly, but you can purchase insurance for pets – it may be a good idea to ‘shop around’ to get the best deal.

Before getting your cat, you should purchase bowls for food and water, a collar (if you want the cat to wear one), a bed (or pet quilt), a few suitable toys, and some food.

A kitten should be fed throughout the day 4 times with a small amount of food each meal, reducing to 3 times a day at 3 months old, then at 6-8 months 2 meals per day. Older cats (over 12 months) should only be fed twice in the day (usually morning and early evening).

Cats groom themselves, but using a soft brush on the cat, especially the long haired variety, will help to cut down the number of hairballs in the cat’s stomach, which are caused by them licking / grooming themselves.

If you decide to have a cat-flap fitted to your door in order that the cat can come and go as it pleases, you will have to train it to use the flap. You can use tit-bits to entice the cat to go through the flap, when it is fully open.

Start by opening the flap fully, just showing the tit-bit, then next time close the flap a little bit and keep on doing so until the cat realises that the flap will open with a small push of the head.

Cats like to sharpen their claws on most household furniture! Suites, corners of walls (thick paper), carpets.

Invest in a scratch post there are many to choose from. When the cat starts to scratch, lift the cat and place him/her next to the scratch post, they will soon get the message and use the post instead of the furniture.

If you are concerned about your cat going missing, or it being involved in an accident, you can have a micro-chip (approximately the size of a grain of rice) inserted into the back of the cat’s neck. The chip contains information, which can help to identify the cat as belonging to you.

It is often said that ‘a cat looks after itself’. This is obviously not really true, but they do have a more independent nature than some other domesticated pets. That said, they still make ideal companions when they ‘allow’ you to be their friend.

Cats are not human but caring for a cat is way easier than caring for a dog.

How to Train A Dog [ Ulitmate Guide]

Learn how to train a dog with these easy steps.

Learning how to train your dog depends on understanding your dog.

Training your dog; what fun this can be. Have you ever watch a person try to train their dog? It is quite comical I assure.

There is something immensely amusing about a grown adult spending hours on their knees talking to a dog that is staring at them with a look of bewilderment and probably wondering why every time they are told to stand up they are again told to sit down.

Training your dog is a long process and can get to be frustrating, however it is equally fun when you can get them to so things like roll over and shake hands.

I always wanted a dog that would get my slippers or bring me the paper; of course while managing to get a minimal amount of drool on either one.

Then there are the super cool dogs that do things like back flips with Frisbees and all those other cool tricks you see done by animals on animal planet.
That stuff is the really cool dog training, but do you ever wonder if the dog enjoys all that training.

Learn how to train a dog with care.

I really wonder how the dog feels about it. It isn’t as if anyone asked them if they wanted to spend their lives running around lie crazy in an effort to impress a crowd of judges who arbitrarily decide what makes one dog’s back flip better than another dogs.

Problems between dogs and their care givers arise from a multitude of reasons, most of which could be easily avoided.

Inconsistent training, expecting too much too soon, harsh or inexperienced handling, and negligence are responsible for the majority of ongoing canine behavior problems. Understanding your dog will help.

Expecting too much from your dog is how to train a dog into failure.

Pet owners who take the time to become knowledgeable about their pet’s needs, and who build a solid foundation of love and trust with their pet, rarely experience serious behavior problems once training is complete.

Pet owners who fail in these areas, however, are likely to instill fear, confusion, lack of confidence, and even depression in their pet. Reading this blog post will help

persons to understand the unique needs of their canine companions.

A Dog’s Unique Personality

Dogs are a lot like most people. They may goof now and then, but they invariably try and do their best. They truly want to please their care givers. A sensitive dog owner will realize this.

Sensitive dog owners will also realize that, like people, some dogs catch on more quickly than others; others are slower to learn.

Some dogs are also more easily distracted. Some are naturally more aggressive, others more timid requiring extra patience and encouragement during training.

Understanding your dog is vital, for both you and your dog. This is especially true when it comes to training.

Guidelines for Successful Training

There are ten important factors to remember if you desire training success:

1.) Patience is critical. Forcing a puppy or young dog to do more than he is capable of doing, losing control and yelling or striking out at the dog, or ending a training session on a sour note all sabotage training success and build confusion and mistrust in the dog.

2.) Keep training upbeat and fun for your dog. Sessions should begin and end with success. Start the session out by “reviewing” a feat or accomplishment your dog already does well. End the session in the same way, with plenty of praise.

3.) Structure is important, so be consistent. Training sessions should be performed regularly. Sessions should be timed to end while your dog is still enthusiastic and attentive. They should last about 15 minutes for puppies, 30 – 40 minutes for adult dogs. Sessions should also be conducted in as distraction-free a location as possible. That means no audience of onlookers for the sake of showing off your “skills” as a trainer.

4.) Be lavish with praise. Reward each success with plenty of verbal and physical praise. Not only will this build confidence in your dog, and create a stronger bond between the two of you, but it will make him even more anxious to please you when learning other new feats.

5.) Never call your dog to you for disciplinary purposes. This will only make your dog apprehensive and reluctant to approach the next time you call. Instead, order him to “sit,” and “stay,” then approach him.

6.) Never over-discipline. Once a dog understands a command but refuses to obey, reasonable physical discipline may be appropriate. Discipline should never be violent or executed in anger; it should always be imparted in a calm, controlled manner.

7.) Don’t lock your dog into shame cycles. When a dog refuses to comply, verbal and physical discipline should be controlled, and reasonable. Ongoing verbal reprisals and scolding when a dog bungles an assignment is ineffective and will only serve to strip confidence. It will discourage your dog and make him dislike training sessions altogether.

8.) Understand that learned behavior takes time. Just because a dog learns the “sit” command on Monday while in his own backyard, that does not mean he will be able to carry the lesson over to Friday’s day at the beach. Dogs do not instinctively apply knowledge learned in one setting to another quite different setting. He must be taught how to do that; it takes repetition over a period of time, and patience.

9.) Teach commands in steps. For instance, before a dog can effectively learn the “lay down,” command – which is, in actuality, a three-step command – he must first learn the commands “sit” and “down” (or lay down). Break multi-tasked commands into simple steps.

10.) Factor #1 bears repeating. Patience is crucial.

By working with your dog following these guidelines you will soon discover the essence of each. Patience combined with consistency, love, and praise for accomplishments well done are the most important factors of all when it comes to building trust in your dog, and assuring training success.

The advantages of teaching a dog to come when called are obvious. For starters, coming when called will help you regain control of the dog in case of collar break, snapped leash or other similar equipment failure.

This is particularly important when you are out with your dog, especially in an area with lots of traffic.

It is vital that the dog respond to your voice and return to your side, even in the absence of collar and leash, and even if there are lots of other things competing for its attention.

Coming when called is also a vital skill for every working dog. Whether the dog’s job is herding sheep, guarding livestock, or sniffing out bombs and drugs at the airport, the working dog must be under total control at all times, whether on leash or off.

This is why it is important to learn how to train a dog.

Even if your dog’s only job is being a loyal companion, it is still vital that he learn this important basic obedience exercise.

After the first obedience lessons, such as heeling, stopping on command, sitting on command, etc. have been learned, it is time to start incorporating the come when called lessons into the daily training sessions.

One note about dog training it is all too easy for training sessions to become dull and routine for both handler and dog. A bored dog will not be receptive to learning, just as a bored handler will not be a good teacher. It is important, therefore, to always incorporate fun things and play into every training session. Incorporating a few minutes of play time before the lesson begins can do wonders for the attitude of dog and human alike. Likewise, ending each training session with a few minutes of free play time is a great way to end on a positive note and to help the dog associate obedience training with fun and not drudgery.

The command to stay and the command to come when called are often combined in obedience training lessons, and they do go naturally together.

Start with the dog on a loose leash, ask the dog to sit and then slowly back away. If the dog begins to get up and follow you, return to the dog and ask him to sit again. Continue this process until you can reach the end of the leash without the dog getting up.

After you can successfully reach the end of the leash on a consistent basis, try dropping the leash altogether.

Of course you will want to do this in a controlled environment like a fenced in yard. After the dog has mastered the stay command, it is time to add the come when called command.

Take up the leash again, and with the dog on the end of the leash, say “come” or “come here”. It is often helpful to use a lure when teaching this behavior. The lure provides a visible item for the dog to focus on. Teaching the dog to come to the lure is a good first step in training the dog to come when called.

Repeat this procedure many times until the dog will consistently stay and then come when called. After the dog has mastered coming when called while attached to the leash, slowly start introducing the concept when the leash is removed.

As before, these training sessions should only take place in a controlled, safe environment, such as a fenced in front or back yard.

A well trained, obedient dog should respond to the call to return to its owner no matter where it is and no matter what distractions may occur. It is therefore necessary to test the dog with distractions of your own.

If you have a neighbor, preferably one with a dog of his own, try having him come over with the dog. Have him, and the dog, stand just outside the fenced in area and repeat the come when called exercise with your dog off leash.

If he becomes distracted by the other dog, put the leash back on and repeat the process.

The goal is to have your dog consistently pay attention to your commands, no matter what distractions may present themselves.

I hope you have learned how to train a dog.

Christian singles, do you want to build healthy and successful relationships? If your answer is YES!, then you must learn how to pick people with godly character traits, as well as be a person of godly character.

Are you having trouble figuring out where to meet Christian singles?

You might want to meet other Christian singles for dating or you might just want to find Christian singles for friendship and support.

More than eighty percent of Americans consider themselves to be Christian and yet a large percentage of Christian singles don’t know how to meet other Christian singles. Here is advice for Christian dating.

Some people try to meet Christian singles only through church, which can be limiting.  On the other hand, some people are trying to meet Christian singles everywhere they go and finding that many people are turned off by approaching a new relationship from a religious standpoint.

The way to meet Christian singles is to find a balance between these two ends of the spectrum.

In order to find Christian singles, you have to be open to meeting them in a range of appropriate places.  If you are only trying to meet other Christian singles at church, you are limiting yourself to the small, select pool of people who attend your church and the even smaller number of people who attend church social activities.

Many people who attend church are in committed relationships and church is a family activity for them.  You might be able to make friends with other Christian singles here but the likelihood of meeting other Christian singles here is slim.

At the same time, you are not likely to meet Christian singles at the local bar, the latest rave party or the nude beach. Tip 1 for advice for christian dating do not look in  secular places.

Many Christians associate with a wide range of people and enjoy a number of different activities and end up getting swept into modern traditional forms of dating.

Often, this type of dating involves alcohol and overt sexuality.  Even if you are able to find Christian singles in such an environment, you may find that your religious foundation is a turn-off and they will back away.

You may also find that if you see Christian singles in such places, your relationship may be rocky as a result of conflicting moral values held by both parties.

In order to mingle with Christian singles that share your faith but aren’t just hanging out at church all day, you need to expose yourself to a variety of situations in which you will bump into Christian singles.  One way to meet Christian singles is to vary your church attendance.  You will still want to participate actively in your church but you might want to regularly attend services at a second church.

Additionally, you can encourage your church groups to plan mingling and volunteer events with other churches so Christian singles can talk with other Christian singles while contributing to the community.

You should also be open to the opportunity to meet Christian singles in other areas of your life.  You can find Christian singles at the local library, sporting events, coffee shops, poetry readings, theater events and shopping malls. Tip 2 for advice for christian dating is look outside of church.

In order to locate Christian singles in such places, you need to be willing to put yourself out there, starting up conversations with people in public places.

You don’t need to share right away that you are seeking Christian singles, nor do you need to place emphasis on your faith, as this might hinder conversation initially.

Instead, start with general conversation and use social clues to include religion into the conversation at appropriate times.

In this way, you will meet Christian singles with a variety of interests, forming friendships and relationships easier than ever before.

Keep these 4 Tips in mind for advice for Christian Dating

1.            Keep All The Rules of The Scripture. There are quite a few laws and rules set forth in the scripture about dating. Keep them all. Examples are, not having sex before marriage, not being unequally yoked to unbelievers and the study of the principles and examples of a good marriage as set forth in the Bible. If you don’t know what these things are then you should be reading your Bible and seeking a Pastor or good Christian counselor to help you.

2.            Pray About Every Aspect of Your Dating and Your Intention To Marry. This is not simple or rudimentary advice it is absolute bottom line essential advice. Miss this and you have missed the boat. Pray about your potential mate, pray with them and pray together with others as well. God is always honored when we include him in all our intentions and decision. To leave him out of such a major decision (marriage) is ridiculous and could only be insulting to God. Remember he is not just Jesus, he is the Lord Jesus.

3.            Take Your Time. Rome wasn’t built in a day, but it is not Rome Satan is constantly attacking. Marriage, especially good marriages are under constant attack in today’s atmosphere of throw away relationships. Marriage is pretty high on the list of things to destroy in Satan’s agenda, don’t let him put yours on his list. Take time to look to listen to weigh your choice, thus giving God time to answer you back as you go.

4.            Ask Your Prospective Mate this All Important Question. I wasn’t lucky enough to have heard this advice when I was a young man. I would have given a kingdom to acquire it and I have never seen it fail anyone in many decades of telling it to others. I originated this test but I must say I was always sure it was God inspired.

You must pose the question within specific parameters for it to work. First you must be sure that you tell your mate that this is a question that they might ask themselves if they were in a comfortable place where they go to sit and meditate or pray.

You are not asking the question, they are asking it of themselves. No one accept the insane and fools would ever lie or try to deceive themselves.

You would ask them, if they were alone in a comfortable place, a place they liked to be in to think and pray, and if they were to ask themselves one single question, what would their answer be, to themselves?

The question is. “If I could summarize in three sentences or less what I want out of life, what would my answer be to myself.”

Let them ponder this question, don’t rush the answer but take their answer with utmost seriousness. People will rarely lie to themselves and the answer will be the truth almost without fail.

If they say I just want to love and be loved, or I just want some security in life, or I want to get the best things in life or follow a career, those are the real and lasting answers, you can count on it.

If you should not marry that person but were to come around to see them for a period of one or two or fifty years you would see one thing, they would have found the things they told you they wanted or they would still be looking for them.

Comparing all of the common likes and dislikes you have with your prospective mate or having long intimate discussions is a good thing.

But life is in motion; everyone has a direction real or perceived. Find out what that direction is before marriage and you will not crash against it after you are married.

I hope this advice for christian dating meets you well.

He Who’s finds a wife (mate) finds a good thing, and obtain favor of the Lord. Proverbs 18:22

All The Online Dating Tips You Need

Ready to try online dating? Follow these online dating tips to be sucessful and find the love of your life.

Online dating can be tricky but with these online dating tips it will lessen the confusion.

There are some things that women should never do while engaged in an online relationship with a man.

These things are certain to put a quick and final end to any further communications with him.

While chatting online or by email do not write your life story.  His eyes will glaze over and he will fall out of his chair.

Keep it short and sweet until he asks for detail ,then provide them slowly and only answer the questions he asks.

For instance:  If he asks how many siblings you have, he is NOT asking for the details of your interaction with them.

He really just wants to know how many you have. Say you have 2 (or whatever is true) and then ask how many he has.

For every question he asks you, you should ask one of him.

Nothing turns a man off like a long- winded woman who just doesn’t know when to shut up or how to listen.

Never, ever, EVER lie.  I really believe that lies will catch up with you sooner or later.  Many women (and men) lie about their age, marital status, employment, height, weight and a host of other things in their online profiles.

That is a huge mistake.  If you find a man who you are really interested in, he will find out you lied and there goes any possibility of the relationship progressing.

So, just be honest.  There is someone out there who will like you…even come to love you for exactly the person you are.

Don’t be too eager.  It makes you look desperate and it really puts a man off.

They are first and foremost conquerors and if getting the person of their desires to like them too is just too easy, they will quickly lose interest.  I don’t mean play “hard-to-get”.

I mean, don’t push for a face-to-face meeting.  Don’t message them too frequently.  Play it safe and play it cool.

These are a few good reasons to consider online dating: Online Dating Tips

  • There is a wide range of men to choose from. You aren’t limited to the men in your social circle or work environment.
  • You have the opportunity to get to know a lot about a man before you ever contact him for the first time. You will know his age, marital status, what city he lives in, whether he has children, his height/weight and his likes and dislikes all from his profile. You’ll even see a picture of him.
  • You have a better chance to present yourself in a favorable way. This is especially useful for those of us who are shy. We have time to think about how we want to say things about ourselves and can avoid being tongue tied. Even those who are more extroverted can take time to reflect on who they really are before writing their online profile.
  • Online dating is certainly a time saver. You can meet so many more men in a lot less time than you ever could out in the real world.

Online dating can be a fun and certainly a rewarding experience for women of all ages. First online dating tips you need to maintain your safety while doing it is simply a combination of using common sense and exercising good judgment.

Online safety rules are the same as real world safety rules.

You wouldn’t give your name, address and phone number to a strange man that you met in a bar or on the street so you should never do that online either.

Play it safe. Get to know this man who could turn out to be Prince Charming before you give out any information that could make it possible for him or others to trace you. Don’t tell a stranger exactly where you work.

Say that you are a E.R Nurse for a local hospital not that you work for Cedar Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles .

It is safe to tell him what city you live in but you should wait to be any more specific than that until you have been chatting and exchanging emails for awhile.

Use only the tools provided by the dating service you belong to. Most offer chat and private email on their site.

Do not give out your isp email address.

If you must give out an email address make it a free one such as Hotmail or Yahoo. Your isp address is traceable for anyone who wants to go to the trouble.

When the time comes for you to have your first face-to-face, make that first meeting in a public place and during day light hours.

Take a friend with you or arrange for one to call you on your cell soon after the arranged meeting.

Remembe ,you ARE in control so do not let anyone pressure you into revealing more personal information than you are comfortable with revealing.

You’ve devoted all of your 20’s to getting your career off the ground. Not that you haven’t been datin, you have, but not seriously.

Now here you are,30 something and there is no long term relationship in sight. You can actually hear your biological clock ticking.

You have a precious few years to find a man to fall in love with, make him fall in love with you, get married, and have a baby or its lights out.

You already know all of the men in your social circle. Not that they aren’t nice guy some of the but none of them are your soul mate. What is a girl to do?

Consider online dating.

You have the opportunity to read hundreds of profiles and look at hundreds of pictures in search of that “someone” that will be right for you.

Maybe he will live in the same city you do, maybe he will live across the country or even in another country altogether. You aren’t limited to only those men that you come in contact with personally.

The possibilities are almost endless.

“Is online dating safe”, you ask.

“Aren’t the online dating sites made up entirely of perverts, sexual predators and weirdoes in assorted shapes and sizes?” the answer is, no they aren’t.

Not anymore anyway. That was true when online dating first came on the scene but now it is mainstream.

It’s as safe as you make it using common sense and sound judgment. Use the same caution that you would when meeting any stranger.

Don’t give your real name, address or phone number until you feel safe doing so.

Do not rush into a face-to-face meeting until you are confident and then make the first meeting in a public place and during daylight hours. Give it a try, Mr. Right might be a few swipes away.

Good luck online dating. If you desire more online dating tips purchase Text Chemistry helpful guide to know what just to text. CLICK HERE

Thailand Travel Guide [Thailand travel tips]

Thailand is possibly the most-visited country in south-east Asia. Here is Thailand travel guide you need to enjoy Thailand.

The irresistible combination of fine beaches, ancient monuments and civilisations and renowned cuisine makes a holiday here an absolute must. Follow this Thailand travel guide.

These Thailand travel tips will guide you on your trip to Thailand.

Where is it?

Thailand is in south-east Asia, bordering Malaysia to the south, Myanmar (Burma) to the north, and Cambodia and Laos to the east. It benefits from coastal stretches both in the Indian Ocean and the Gulf of Thailand.

Where can I stay?

Thailand is a popular country to visit – Bangkok is a 24-hour city with hotels to match whilst smaller cities and coastal resorts have also made the most of the constant tourist trade.

Travellers are becoming more sophisticated, however, which has resulted in a number of boutique hotels opening to cater for the discerning guest.

For those who love the beach, try the luxury of Aleenta; a small, private beach hotel which houses just 17 suites and 2 private villas.

With unspoilt beach on your doorstep, an infinity pool and romantic breakfast and dinner settings, beach-life rarely gets better.

Alternatively, go for the lights and sounds of Bangkok, where you could stay at the Ibrik City; a very chic hotel right in the middle of the business district and next to the famous “Blue Elephant” cooking school.

With just three rooms, this is a modern yet homely hotel and great transport connections mean that this boutique hotel is the ideal base for days and nights in Bangkok.

What can I see?

Thailand is renowned for its ancient monuments, stupas and temples.

From the sheer architectural delight of the Phimai Temple, a Hindu/Buddhist temple, to the ancient stupas in the Sukothai Historical Park, there’s much to learn about civilisations hundreds and thousands of years old and the way they affect the people of Thailand today.

Don’t miss the busy and colourful markets either, and make sure that you spend time sampling the fabulous food for which Thailand is so well known.

Venture away from the beaches to the rivers and mountains of Thailand’s interior to sample a simpler way of life, or take in the energy of Bangkok with a city visit.

How do I get around?

You can hire a car to get around Thailand, but it may be easier to take the train. Bangkok city is serviced by a Sky train and boat service, so there’s no need for any other transport to get you around.

Outside Bangkok and closer to the coast, use the buses and trains to get about.

The trains may be slower than you’re used to, but they’re comfortable. On the other hand, the buses are fast and furious, but they are cheap and air-conditioned.

You have lots of choices in Thailand for a vacation and you need to figure out exactly what you plan to do while you are there.

Your first stop will be in the capital, Bangkok and you should plan to stay there for a few days, especially if this is your first visit to Thailand.

There are river boat dinners, short ½ day trips to beautiful temples, and longer jaunts to the old capital, Ayudhaya, or visit the site of the Bridge on the River Kwae in Kanchanaburi for some WWII history.

If you like the beach, you have numerous choices.

You can go to Pattaya, which is about 1 ½ hour drive from Bangkok, or you can catch a short flight to Phuket or Koh Samui.

If you really want to see pristine beaches and emerald water, go to Krabi. You can dive, snorkel, or swim to your heart’s content.

If you prefer cooler weather, head up north to Chiang Mai or Chiang Rai and visit the temples and hill-tribe people.

Local handicrafts, the Golden Triangle, and more await you in Northern Thailand.

For a very laid back vacation (my favorite), head to the northeast to an area referred to as Isaan (or Isan, or Esarn).

This is a an area that includes Udorn Thani, Korat, Khon Kaen, Surin and some more smaller towns and villages.

The pace is slower, the people friendlier and the cost of living about 50% less than in the touristy areas.
I have been to Pattaya, Phuket, Koh Samui, Bangkok and many other cities in the Land of Smiles.

My favorite is Khon Kaen. Located about a 55 minute flight from the old Don Muang Airport, Khon Kaen is an excellent mix of old and new.

I can watch Netflix or sit on a picnic table under thatched roof overlooking the river while I eat my jumbo prawns and drink a cold Singha.

I can visit a number of temples or go to a clubs. I can hang out with the expatriates neat the Sofitel Hotel or go to night market at the University.

I can have dinner at a restaurant along the man-made lake while half the city is out jogging.

I can go shopping at malls and outlet store that compare to any in the United States. I can even call and have pizza or chicken delivered to my hotel room.

No matter what you are looking for, Thailand has it all. And it will be a lot cheaper than where you live now.

You can spend your days at the beach and your nights pursuing dreams of youth at all the nightspots.

You can relax on a small island or go trekking in the jungles. Whatever you want to do, you can do it in Thailand.

I hope this Thailand travel guide helps you.
